UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Utica Police Department has announced they have made an arrested in the shooting investigation that killed 24-year-old Kaeron Henderson in West Utica on Sunday, November 20th.

According to police, after an interview and investigation, the Major Crimes Unit has identified 20-year-old Dontay Horning of Utica as their prime suspect. He has been arrested and charged with the following:

  • Murder in the Second Degree
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree
