ROME, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Rome Police Department is reporting that a woman has been arrested for two separate robbery incidents in the City of Rome involving a gun.

Around 9 am on Thursday, January 13th, 31-year-old Camille L. Dyous of Rome was arrested for allegedly holding up two different convenience stores in the City of Rome. The first incident took place on September 16th when Dyous allegedly entered OJ’s Smoke Shop on South James Street brandishing a gun and demanded cash, cigarettes, and a cell phone. The second incident happened on November 19th, when Dyous allegedly entered Bill’s Variety on West Thomas Street, again brandished a gun, and demanded cash.

Dyous was arrested for the following and held for arraignment:

  • Two counts of Robbery in the Second Degree
