UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Utica Police Department has reported a drive-by shooting involving a group of young kids took place on Oneida Street in Utica on April 5th.

Around 8:12 pm on Tuesday, officers responded to the 1500 block of Oneida Street to investigate a ‘shots fired’ incident. When they arrived on the scene, they learned that a group of juveniles was outside of 1546 Oneida Street when a dark-colored SUV drove by and began shooting at them.

The SUV was last seen fleeing northbound on Oneida Street. There currently have been no reported injuries. Officers were able to recover several spent bullet casings on the road at the scene.
