HERKIMER, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Village of Herkimer meeting on Monday night started with a prompt executive session – meaning that the over 40 people in attendance had to wait as a 30-minute meeting took place.
Once the meeting was over, the public meeting began, however, the officials did not explain to the crowd what was discussed in the executive session, nor did they explain why it was held in the first place.
Nevertheless, several residents spoke up during the meeting and requested apologies from the mayor and the board, with no response.
After a few unrelated resolutions were passed, the board then when into yet another executive session without previously notifying the public, nor letting them know what would be on that agenda.
Eyewitness News will be at the next Village of Herkimer meeting, so be sure to keep up with us for the latest information.
