MVHS ‘Pop-up’ COVID Vaccine Clinics in Utica, Rome

UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS), in conjunction with New York State and local partners, will hold several special “pop-up” vaccine PODs for anyone over 18-years-old.

The PODs will be distributing the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) single-dose vaccines, free of charge, at the following locations:

Tuesday, May 4 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

FX Matt Apt, ND Peters & Adrean Terrace Apt Community Center 1736 Armory Drive, Utica

Wednesday, May 5 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Jervis Library located at 613 N Washington St, Rome

Thursday, May 6 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The Center located at 201 Bleecker Street, Utica

Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Bargain Grocer located at 1110 Lincoln Ave, Utica

If you’d like to get a vaccine at one of the PODs this week, you can:

  1. Schedule an appointment at mvhealthsystem.org/vaccine-network.
  2. Simply walk in while the clinic is open.

The event is sponsored by The Center, Mohawk Valley New Frontiers, NAACP/Utica, NAACP/Rome, the Mohawk Valley Latino Association, MVHS, Oneida County Health Department and New York State.
