Utica, N.Y., January 27, 2022 – Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon has announced her campaign for re-election. Joined by her family, friends, staff, and members of the community, Buttenschon says although she’s had many opportunities to work with residents, there is still work that needs to be done.
She says the main concerns facing the people of Utica are public safety, health, and our schools, as well as facing the challenges of the pandemic.
“I will continue to hear what the residents have to say. Everyone that comes forward has something that brings passion to them and as you look at those passions you can’t disregard any of them. Some of them might not be my passions, but at the same token, they’re the passions of the people I represent. As we talk about these budget issues and these budget concerns, they’re very concerning to me. Where do we cut? How do we cut how do we make those decisions?” – Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon
The Assemblywoman says she is ready to move forward and collaborate with many new ideas.
