UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Utica Comets have announced that their weekend road trip is part of a list of games postponed by the AHL due to the league’s COVID protocols. The Comets game for Wednesday, December 1, 2021 is not affected and will go on as scheduled. The Comets will host the Belleville Senators Wednesday at the Adirondack Bank Center.

Following the Wednesday night game, the Comets were set to travel to Hartford on Saturday and Providence on Sunday. Those games will not be held. The Sunday game at Providence has been rescheduled for Monday, January 10, 2022.

Nine AHL games have been postponed, including all Rochester Americans games until December 3rd, all Hartford and Springfield games until December 4th and all Hershey and Providence games until December 5th. Beside the Comets – Bruins rescheduled date, only one other of the postponed nine games has a rescheduled date.
