UTICA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce has announced on Friday, March 10 that Jennifer Keida, President of Standard Heating, Cooling and Insulating in Utica has been awarded the Chamber’s Businessperson of the Year award.
Keida is the first woman in 20 years to receive the award. She was installed as the youngest ever chairperson of the Chamber in 2010 and served on the board of directors from 2005 to 2012.
In addition to her duties on the Chamber of Commerce, Keida is an advocated for heart health and is a member and supporter of the Mohawk Valley chapter of the American Heart Association. She is the current head of the Mohawk Valley chapter, having served in that position for the last four years.
She is also a past board member of the Building Performance Institute, as well as a current board member of the Building Performance Contractors Association of New York, and a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program Alumnus.
Keida will be receiving the award on Wednesday, October 18 at Hart’s Hill Inn in Whitesboro. Tickets will be made available soon.
