James Brower Takes A Plea In Murder Case

NORWICH, NY – James Brower appeared in the Chenango County Court Friday morning and pleaded guilty to one count of First Degree Hindering Prosecution, a Class D Felony, in relation to the murder of 11 year old Jacelyn O’Connor in the summer of 2017. Brower will face a sentence of one and half to four and a half years in prison. Brower’s boyfriend, Tobias Rundstrom-Wooding had previously admitted to raping and suffocating the child.

The Chenango County District Attorney explained why the plea to something other than murder.
