The SUNY Poly student found having suffered serious traumatic injury in her dorm room two weeks ago has passes away. Fardush Sultana was a junior in the Civil Engineering program at the school’s Marcy campus. She was found in her dorm room on April 6, 2019, having suffered serious injury. Campus Police and the State Police investigated and concluded that there was no criminal activity related to her injuries.

Sultana had been on life support at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She died there Wednesday. Sultana was from Hudson, NY and was a member of the SUNY Poly Cross Country team. She had attended Hudson High School, where there will be a special prayer service held on Friday afternoon.
