A groupof sledders made a shocking discovery in the snow when they found a dead body. Fiveyears later, the man accused of killer her is in court. It was an unsolvedmurder, with no suspect – until just a few months ago when police named asuspect in the homicide case. Thirty year old Craig Ingersollappeared in Oneida County Court today afterrejecting a plea offer. Ingersoll is accused of killing Jennifer Bennett back in 2007. Her body was found in the snowbehind the Deerfield firehouse. Ingersoll,who police say is linked to the crime scene through d-n-a – will return tocourt in September for a Huntley Hearing. That’s when court will determinewhether or not statements Ingersoll made to police can be used in the trial. Hefacing second degree murder and sex- related charges.
