Around 7:00pm on July 6th, the Utica Police Department responded to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital after an unidentified male walked into the emergency room with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder.

An attempt was made to interview the male about what had happened, but he did not cooperate. Officers were unable to get even basic details about what had happened.

There is not much known at this time and there were no reports of any shots being fired during this time frame given by the male, so the location and details of the shooting remain unknown.
