U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand visited Hamilton College to host a Q&A as part of her commitment to hear from as many New Yorkers as possible.

While she was there, Eyewitness News spoke with her about what she and colleague Senator Schumer could do to expedite the process for flood victims that need disaster relief.

In regards to the impeachment hearings, Gillibrand stated that even though the Republicans have majority of the vote in the senate, “I think it’s our responsibility under the constitution, whether we like it or not.”

Student debt is an ongoing issue, Gillibrand wants to refinance federal debt at the lowest rate for debt.
