Frankfort Man Sentenced for Hitting His Ex-Wife with Car

UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY-TV)– Back in December of 2019, Leslie Paulson was accused of hitting his ex-wife with his car, today he was sentenced for to 18 and a half years and five years post release supervision for attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

His ex-wife Jennifer Romano wrote a compelling letter about her experience that was read by Assistant District Attorney Todd Carville. Oneida County Court Judge Judge Robert bauer asked Paulson if he wanted to make a statement after the letter was read and he said ” Not anymore, No.”
