Try as they might the SUNY Poly men’s lacrosse team could not get back on track during their Wednesday night game against Bard College. Wildcats gave up four unanswered goals in the final frame as the Bard Raptors walked away with an 11-4 victory.  Sophomore Daniel Rivie scored twice in the lossing effort. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 1-6 on the year.

Plus, the Utica Comets got back a piece of their offense. On Wednesday Vancouver reassigned Joseph LaBate to Utica. The move then forced the team to return Emerson Clark to the ECHL. Comets return to action Friday (03/31) when they head to Rochester.

If that wasn’t enough, we covered the upcoming Ted Petrillo Save our Switchbacks race. You can click here for more information.

Finally, the USA women’s hockey team agreed to terms on a new four year deal with USA Hockey. The move means the women will no longer boycott the IIHF World Championship, a tournament in which they are the three time reigning champs.
