D’Avolio Sentenced 25 Years to Life for Murdering His Late Wife

Jason D’avolio, from Rome was sentenced today for the murder of his late wife Kerrilee D’Avolio back in July of 2019. He was found guilty of shooting her in the back of the head and then dumping her body in a dumpster.

Kerrilee’s mother, Hope Wagner and her sister Tiffany Thompson both gave detailed victim impact statements.

“I miss her jokes, her silliness. She had a way to get people to smile, laugh or just be there if they needed to cry. Her adventures, her voice to make changes for the better in this world, she was a true leader.”Hope Wagner

“I lay awake every night, wishing to hear her or have her back, wishing to call her or hear her voice. She was not only my older sister but also my best friend.”Tiffany Thompson

“I never want to see or hear his voice again. Our family wants and deserves the last word, have no mercy.”Hope Wagner

Kerrilee’s family said this chapter is closed but now they need to focus on the children and making sure they are taken care of.
