News

UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR-TV) — Today Judge Michael Dwyer from Oneida County Court has denied Brandon Clark’s request to withdraw his guilty plea.

Back in February Clark pleaded guilty to killing 17-year-old Utica teen Bianca Devins. A few weeks ago Clark had a hearing and testified that his former attorney coerced him into accepted the plea bargain. His former attorneys also testified, and ultimately, Judge Dwyer did not accept the withdraw.

Clark will appear back in court on November 10th for sentencing. He’s charged with second-degree murder and faces 25 years to life behind bars.
