Benefit to be Held for Little Girl Suffering from Rare Cancer

A little girl from Uticahas been diagnosed with Retinoblastoma -a rare form of eye cancer.

12-month old Savanah Redmond was diagnosed in September,after her mother noticed a strange glare in her daughter’s eye.  A benefit is being held this weekend to raisemoney the massive medical expenses the family is dealing with.

A friend of the familytells Eyewitness News, the benefit is also about educating the public about theillness.  The benefit is set to be heldthis Sunday at Valentinos in Washington Mills from 1 until 4 in the afternoon. Therewill be activities for kids, a silent auction, and Chinese raffle.
