Arrests Made In Cornhill Shooting


No One Injured In Incident

Utica Police have arrested two people in connection to a Wednesday morning shooting in the city. The shooting took place late Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of Brinkerhoff Ave, in the Cornhill section of Utica. Police were able to confirm that shots were fired and that no one was injured.

As a result of an investigation, two people were arrested in connection with the incident. Kimberly Felton, 39, of Utica, was charged with multiple counts of possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia. Felton was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Mercer was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Reckless Endangerment.

Police say that their investigation continues and that more arrests are expected. They also ask that if anyone has information about the incident, call the Utica Police Criminal Investigation Division at 315-223-3510.
