One area business will be soon getting a facelift, all whilehelping out a good cause.

The north Utica Applebee’s is calling all sports fans andcollectors.

The general manager says the memorabilia, photos and variousitems currently decorating the walls will be up for bid.

The money raised through the auction will help grant wishesto children in our community.

“We’re going to take down all the decor that is on the wallsfor all these years that we have been opened and instead of throwing it out inthe garbage they decided to do something good for the community and donate tomake-a-wish. There won’t be new things on the wall but the new wallpaper willbe built in with new photos with the community and sports teams,” said generalmanager Jerry Synrod.

Most of the items on the walls are labeled with a number. Interestedcustomers just have to pick out what they want and let the bartender or manageron-duty know.

The last day to bid is Sunday, March 10th.
