17th Anniversary of Ivory Green’s Disappearance

UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR-TV) — On March 6, 2004, 17-year-old Ivory Green called her mom to say she was on her way home but never arrived. 17 years later, Utica Police are still actively investigating her disappearance.

“Not a day has gone by that we haven’t kept this investigation open. We’ve been in constant contact with Mrs. Green with respect to the progress with the investigation.” – Sargent Michal Curley, Utica Police Department

Although there have been no arrests, Sargent Curley says right now, they have 325 leads.

“We partner with the national center for missing and exploited children as well as the Oneida County District Attorney’s office to partner with this investigation. So, there’s always an ongoing set of individuals and eyes looking at this case.” – Sargent Michal Curley, Utica Police Department

Police are confident that someone knows something about Ivory’s disappearance, and they’re urging them to come forward.

“Please come forward please provide information, don’t be afraid of where the investigation leads. It’s time to bring ivory home one way or another.” – Sargent Michal Curley, Utica Police Department
