Chief Meteorologist

As a New England native, Colleen’s interest in weather was sparked at an early age. She grew up in coastal Massachusetts and was constantly boating, camping, and hitting the beach.

She experienced nearly all types of weather from blizzards to heat waves to hail and Nor’easters. Getting caught in a few severe storms as a child was enough to fuel her desire to learn how to forecast. She decided on broadcast meteorology as a career at age 9.

Colleen received her bachelor’s degree in meteorology in 2016 from New Hampshire’s Plymouth State University. She gained broadcast experience as a weather intern at WHDH (7 News) in Boston, MA. From there, she went on to be a morning meteorologist in Rapid City, SD for a few years before moving back east.

In her free time, Colleen enjoys hiking with her dog Luna, spending time in the gym, and exploring all that Central New York has to offer.
