CANASTOTA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – On Saturday, September 24th, olympian, and professional skater Manny Santiago will be making a special guest appearance at the Lenox Skate Park’s ‘King of the Park’ competition taking place in Canastota, NY.
Manny Santiago will be on site around 12:00 pm for a meet and greet and general admission for spectators is free. Anyone interested in competing must pay a $5.00 registration fee and is required to wear helmets and sign waivers. Skaters may compete for both ‘King of Park’ AND ‘King of the Street’ titles.
The event will kick off with a mixed 30-minute ‘bowl jam’, which will be followed up by other activities, including a scooter competition at 3:00 pm.
