ONEIDA COUNTY, NY (WUTR-TV) — You can add the Boonville-Oneida County fair to the list of events that have fallen victim to the coronavirus.
The fair directors made the announcement on Friday. The scheduled dates were July 27th through august 1st. 1943, in the middle of the second world war, was the last time that a year went by without the fair. Earlier this month, the woodmen field days, a late august event that also uses the Boonville fair grounds, announced that the field days were cancelled. and, earlier this week, the first Central New York Irish festival, set for Deansboro this July, was called off.
