Weiran Vera Shang joins the Eyewitness News team from New York City. She graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in May 2022. At Columbia, she was a member of AAJA and focused on long-form visual storytelling.
She gained video production experience during her internships with CCTV and Tencent Pictures.
