Jamie Azulay

Jamie Azulay is a New England native from Reading, MA who joined the Eyewitness News team in June 2021. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire, she jumped right into her job here in Utica. Starting as a multimedia journalist Jamie covered a range of stories — from Leon Etienne’s magic residency in Old Forge to Fourth of July homicides, the Westernville tornado, the Cuomo impeachment investigation, and everything in between – before taking on her current role as anchor and producer.

At UNH she earned a degree in journalism and communication and was a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. Jamie was awarded the Theodore ‘Tad’ Ackman Jr. and Robin D. Gorsky Endowed Scholarship for excellence in journalism and was named the 2021 distinguished scholar in the department of communication.

Jamie loves spending time with her family and friends and as much as she loves all things Boston she loves calling New York home! To share a story idea or say hello, send her an email at jazulay@nexstar.tv
