A weak area of high pressure will drop down from the north to bring the sunnier weather.
In fact, we'll get airflow around that high all day from the west. When this happens, we get warmer weather because air "warms" when it comes down the mountains and ridges across our area.
So, instead of the low 70s like we saw on Thursday, we get the upper 70s.
Then, the 80s return on Saturday.
Both Saturday and Sunday, we'll have a mix of clouds and sun in the sky. Each afternoon, a spot or two will see an isolated thunderstorm.
On Sunday, we’ll feel the return of the humidity.
Monday follows with mostly cloudy skies, humid and rainy conditions, and a high in the upper 70s.
We keep drying out on Tuesday with more clouds than sun in the sky and highs in the low 70s. We'll have breezy conditions, too, as cooler air settles into the Mohawk Valley.
A mix of clouds and sun in the sky continues on Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid 70s.
