Ziyara Shrine Circus Comes to Utica

The circus has arrived at the Utica AUD. The 67th annual Ziyara Shrine Circus kicked off today. All proceeds go to providing free medical care for children at Shrine hospitals across the country.
The circus has arrived at the Utica AUD. The 67th annual Ziyara Shrine Circus kicked off today. All proceeds go to providing free medical care for children at Shrine hospitals across the country. A bout two-thousand area third-graders got the chance to see the first show this morning.
"I can't wait because I came here before and it was really fun," said Wyatt Brennan, a student.

"Well a lot of us starte coming to the circus as children ourselves, I certainly did and many years later now here I am as a shriner and now the circus chairman and I know my neice will be here some of my neighbors will be here and the tradition continues," said John Sallustio, circus chairman.

There's another show tonight at 7 and shows Saturday and Sunday.
