State Senator James Seward of District 51 in Herkimer County today highlighted his top priorities for 2014. Among them: supporting more tax-free initiatives to get business going and delaying the Common Core roll-out until changes can be made. He also focused on flood response. Senator Seward also mentioned his disapproval of the New York Safe Act and proposed ways to keep the gun manufacturer Remington Arms in Ilion.
