"We're hoping before the holidays it's a nice time when you're meeting with your children that come in from out of state that you kind of have a conversation with them in how you would like to be taken care of or your financial matters taken care of if something happens to you," said Judy DiCioccio of the Estate Planning Law Center.

She says to complete all legal documents with your family sooner rather than later.
