A national engineering company opened a new office in the city of Utica to support growth in the Mohawk Valley. O'brien & Gere is an engineering solutions provider with a focus on energy, water and environmental issues.
O'brien & Gere staff say their recent growth in the region and expansion into Utica allows them to work on local water and environmental projects.
"For the City of Utica we're working on the redevelopment of the Utica Harbor, it's a significant project for the city of Utica and the surrounding area,” said project manager Karl Schrantz. “We're also working with Utica on its sewer system compliance program with the combined sewers as well as with Oneida County on its consenter compliance program."
O'brien &Gere opened their Utica office in May and hosted a client appreciation open house Thursday evening.
