The Broadway Theatre League invited the Mohawk Valley Center for Refugees to watch the show. Creator/Director of the show says Cirque Dreams Holidaze touches on all of the holidays throughout the season.
"We really pay tribute to all of the holidays, these performers, we transform them into penguins and snowmen and the celebratory scenes and you're going to see packages flying through the air and ribbons flying and bouncing around and this show reminds audiences of what they felt like when they were a kid,” said Director Neil Goldberg.
"If you go to the refugee center there's people, hundreds of people in there everyday speaking 20 different languages at least but art, dance, music, they all share so this is wonderful,” said Shelly Callahan, Executive Director of the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees.
Opening night is Saturday night at 7:30 pm at the Stanley Theatre. There will be another performance Sunday at 7:30 pm as well.
