MHA’s Americorps Volunteers Host Coat Drive

The Utica Americorps team is holding a coat drive and the need is greater than ever in this harsh winter weather. In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Americorps program the team is collecting new and used clean, reusable coats, boots, hats and gloves, all for adults and children in need.
The Utica Americorps team is holding a coat drive and the need is greater than ever in this harsh winter weather. In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Americorps program the team is collecting new and used clean, reusable coats, boots, hats and gloves, all for adults and children in need.
"Look at the weather, and you know we took careful considerations of all of the needs of our residents and we decided that a coat drive would be very appropriate, so we're going for it,” said Natasha Pearson, Housing Specialist.
Americorps volunteers have coordinated a number of different drop-off sites. You can find that list online at www.uticamha.org. The coat drive runs through January 17th.
