Laineys Army Hosting Fundraiser For Herkimer Co. Humane Society

The Herkimer County Humane Society says people have been extremely generous but they are still looking for help. They're asking for soft canned dog food, blankets, chew bones, kongs and rawhides for the 12 abused dogs. If you're interested in donating, Laineys Army, an animal activist group, will be holding a drop-off fundraiser tomorrow and Wednesday from 2p to 7p at 4624 Commercial Drive in New Hartford. The group will deliver items to the Herkimer Co. Humane Society at the end of each night. "If they need blankets, towels, and sheets, we'll have it. If they need canned dog food, we'll have that. We stand behind them. Wherever there's an animal in trouble, Laineys Army will stand behind that group," says Kimberly Strong, founder of Laineys Army.
