Over 100 employees at Rome Labs that were furloughed last week as a result of the partial federal government shutdown, are back to work.

Congressman Richard Hanna (R-22) issued the following statement on his facebook page yesterday:

"I’m pleased to report that Defense Secretary Hagel has done the right thing and brought all furloughed employees at Rome Lab and EADS back to work using the authority Congress gave him under the Pay Our Troops Act.  There is no reason for our national security personnel to be punished because Washington cannot settle on a national budget.  I remain committed to resolving this unfortunate government shutdown as quickly as possible."
