SEVEN TEAMS, FIVE OF WHICH PLAYED IN THE SECTIONAL PLAYOFFS LAST SEASON.

OF THOSE FIVE TEAMS HOWEVER, ONLY ONE TEAM WON THEIR FIRST ROUND GAME AND THAT TEAM WAS FRANKFORT-SCHUYLER.
THE MAROON KNIGHTS FOUR AND TWO REGULAR SEASON FINISH EARNED THEM A FOUR SEED IN THE CLASS C-2 PLAYOFFS, AND A 34-18 VICTORY OVER MOUNT MARKHAM PROPELLED THEM TO A SEMI-FINAL MATCHUP WITH EVENTUAL CLASS C-2 CHAMPION HERKIMER.
AFTER LOSING JUST FOUR PLAYERS TO GRADUATION LAST SEASON, THE MAROON KNIGHTS ARE CONFIDENT THEIR EXPERIENCED SQUAD WILL MAKE WAVES IN CLASS C.

" I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK WE REALLY HAVE ANY WEAKNESSES, I THINK WE HAVE STRENGTHS EVERYWHERE. WE HAVE A LOT OF CHEMISTRY TOGETHER FROM PLAYING IN YEARS PASSED AND WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN WORKING TOGETHER ALL OFF-SEASON. WE HAVE A GOOD GROUP OF GUYS AND IT SHOULD BE FUN. " - JOE DESARRO

FRANKFORT WILL HAVE IT'S HANDS FULL IN WEEK ONE AS THEY HOST RIVAL NOTRE DAME IN THE MYHOMETOWN SPORTS/ESPN RADIO FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS GAME OF THE WEEK.

SPEAKING OF NOTRE DAME, THE JUGGLERS ALSO FINISHED THE 2012 REGULAR SEASON FOUR AND TWO BUT FOUND THEMSELVES ELIMINATED IN THE FIRST ROUND BY A TOUGH GENERAL BROWN TEAM.
WITH NUMEROUS STARTERS LOST TO GRADUATION, AND SEVERAL UNDERCLASSMEN FILLING PROMINENT ROLES, THE JUGGLERS ARE HOPING THAT A RETURN TO THE BASICS, AND GOOD OLD FASHIONED TEAM SPEED WILL KEEP THEIR PLAYOFF HOPES AFLOAT.

" WELL YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO SQUARE ONE, AND IN THAT REGARD IT'S BEEN FUN. OUR COACHING STAFF IS HAVING ALOT OF FUN. YOUR BACK TO FOOTBALL 101. IT'S ALOT OF TEACHING AND QUITE REWARDING WHEN YOU START TO SEE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU TEACH START TO COME INTO PLAY. SO WE'RE HAVIN ALOT OF FUN." - BYRON ABRAHAM

" WE HAVE OUR VETERANS, WHO LEAD BY EXAMPLE OF COURSE. AND ALL THE YOUNG GUYS LOOK UP TO US AND THEY DON'T EVEN SEEM LIKE THEIR YOUNG GUYS, THEY SEEM LIKE THEY'VE BEEN HERE FOR YEARS." - ALEX KONDZIELAWA

AFTER A TRIP TO FRANKFORT IN WEEK ONE, THE JUGGLERS STAY ON THE ROAD IN WEEK TWO AS THEY HEAD TO HOLLAND PATENT.

"OUR KIDS HAVE SPENT ALOT OF TIME WORKING TOGETHER IN THE OFFSEASON. WE'VE GOTTEN STRONGER, WE'VE GOTTEN FASTER. IN MY THREE YEARS HERE, THIS TEAM PROBABLY HAS THE MOST ABSOLUTE SPEED WE HAVE EVER HAVE. I THINK BETWEEN HARD WORK AND STAYING TOGETHER AS A COHESIVE UNIT, IT'S GOING TO BE SOMETHING THAT'S GOING TO BE ONE OF OUR STRENGTHS. " - JERRY TINE

OUR BACKFIELD, ROBERT HEITZMAN AND TIM HARRISON, THEY'RE BACK FROM LAST YEAR AND THEY DID PRIMARILY A LOT OF OUR RUNNING ATTACK AND THEY HANDLED THE BALL ALOT. SO WE DO HAVE A LOT OF EXPERIENCE AND I THINK THAT'S GOING TO BE A BIG HELP FOR US OFFENSIVELY. " - TIM GATES
