The event complete with a torch lighting and presentation of the flags. Seniors taking part in several modified Olympic games and even winning medals. "The middle of winter is sort of a dull time and we really wanted to rev up the Olympics but we thought we should do our own Olympics," said Jane Devecis, activities coordinator. "You sit around all the time so this is a good break and it's so much fun, the people," said Maurice Penet, a resident at the home.
