"Mitsuba" is now "Red Samurai"

A New Hartford restaurant celebrated its grand opening Tuesday, even though it's been around for quite some time. The former Mitsuba on Seneca Turnpike is now going by the name Red Samurai. Owners say for two years their restaurant was confused with other area Mitsubas that are owned separately.

Red Samurai now has a sushi conveyor belt for guests to enjoy.

"It’s new in town, there's nothing like this in New Hartford right now that's why I wanted to bring it in and it's a new idea so hopefully we can bring new customers and they can have a new experience with the conveyor belt sushi,” said Red Samurai Owner Anna Tang.

The plates on the conveyor belt are color coded.  Each color represents a different price.  Tuesday through Thursday everything on the menu is 50 percent off at the newly renamed Red Samurai.
