A Rome man will spend more than seven years in prison following a synthetic drug investigation.
John Tebbetts was sentenced in federal court to 87 months in prison Tuesday. Tebbetts received his sentence in exchange for pleading guilty to owning Tebbs head shops in central New York and Maine.
His shops sold drugs labeled "spice," "k-2," or "bath salts." in addition to prison time, Tebbetts agree to forfeit six vehicles, including a motor home.
