The one year anniversary of the devastating Mohawk Valley floods is coming up at the end of this month. Today County Executive Anthony Picente announced a 500 thousand dollar flood mitigation project to prevent against future flooding in the area. The money won't be designated to repairs on existing infrastructure, but rather to fund projects that will improve waterways, and mitigate future damage.
