Drones have been cleared for flight in Rome. The Federal Aviation Administration giving the green light to Griffiss International Airport and NUAIR to begin testing and developing unmanned aircraft. This after Griffiss was chosen by the FAA among just six other sites in the nation to test drones. The next step is creating a safety review and a flight plan. This is expected to take about two weeks and then the testing is set to begin.
