Central Valley football preview

A preview of Central Valley football.
LAST STOP NOW AND THE ILION AND MOHAWK FOOTBALL SQUADS ARE NO MORE, IN THEIR PLACE THE CENTRAL VALLEY THUNDER TOOK TO THE FIELD THIS WEEK IN ILION.
AS THE TEAM PREPARES FOR A CLASS B EAST SCHEDULE FILLED WITH THE LIKES OF VVS, ONEIDA AND CAMDEN, HEAD COACH JOHN COLE LIKES WHAT THE MERGER HAS BROUGHT TO THIS TEAM.

" THE BIG DIFFERENCE WITH THIS TEAM IS THE NUMBERS.  WE'VE GOT 38 KIDS STRONG AND I WOULD SAY AT LEAST 34 OF THEM COME IN WITH EXPERIENCE AND HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME.  WE'VE GOT A LOT OF BIG ATHLETES, A LOT OF GOOD SIZE THIS YEAR.  JUST DEPTH IN OVERALL ATHLETICISM IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE."

CENTRAL VALLEY WILL PLAY IT'S FIRST GAME EVER ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 6TH AT HOME VERSUS MEXICO.
