Erin Hamlin kicks off her final Olympic games.
After a pair of women's luge races on Monday, the Remsen native currently sits in fifth place, and is 0.045 seconds out of medal contention.
Hamlin's day started off with a bang when she set a new course record with a time of 46.357 seconds, but that did not last long.
Her next race was even faster, with a time of 46.333. Her combined time is 1:32.690, and she'll look to finish off her Olympic career on a high note when she races for the final time on Tuesday morning.
The first of her two races will take place around 5:30am, and her final race is set to kick off at around 7:30am. Fans can support Erin by attending a viewing party at Remsen High School.
Natalie Geisenberger and Dajana Eitberger of Germany own the top two positions, while Alex Gough of Canada is in third.
