The hockey teams of Whitesboro, New Hartford, Clinton and RFA all headed out to the Kennedy Arena in Rome for the fourth annual Bobby T. Ciccotti tournament. Round one saw a Warrior on Warrior crime as Clinton and Whitesboro squared off. Whitesboro dominated from puck drop as they shut out Clinton 3-0.

Other game of the day had New Hartford sharpening their spears against RFA. New Hartford struck first, only to watch RFA tie the game in the second period. However New Hartford would connect twice more before the final whistle to top the Black Knights 3-1. Jack Engdahl scored twice in the winning effort.

With that, the Bobby T. Ciccotti Championship will feature the age old rivalry between Whitesboro and New Hartford.
