Comets look to 'bring best' against Marlies

A potential playoff preview could be taking place tomorrow morning.

The Comets and Marlies will go head-to-head for a two-game series that concludes on Friday night at the Aud.  If the season ended today, the two teams would meet in the postseason's opening round.

"We have to be ready," Carter Bancks said.  "We like to think that we play hard every night, but knowing that it's a team that we'll hopefully be seeing a lot of we're going to have to bring our best."

Utica sports a record of 2-4 against Toronto this season, but they won the last meeting 3-1 back on March 18th, and enter this one on a 4-game winning streak.

However, there's an added wrinkle to Thursday's game, with faceoff set for 11am.

"We have to make sure we're prepared," head coach Trent Cull said.  "It's a different kind of a day.  You don't have a pre-game skate or a pre-game meal.  You have to jam everything in, so it's wake up and get to work."
