With the preseason inching closer for the Comets, the Canucks have assigned three players to participate in training camp in Utica.
Those players are defensemen Anton Cederholm and Mackenze Stewart as well as forward Danny Moynihan.
Moynihan and Stewart were both with the Comets last preseason before they were sent to the ECHL, while Cederholm played in Sweden.
Last season with the Alaska Aces, Moynihan scored 22 goals to go along with 30 assists in 71 games. Stewart totaled 13 points in 70 games after appearing in four games for the Comets during the 2015-16 season.
Expect similar moves to take place in the next week as the Comets get set to open the preseason with a home-and-home against the Syracuse Crunch beginning Sep. 30.
