Verona Man Charged in Pizza Boys shots fired incident

New York Mills - An arrest has been made following a shots fired incident inside Pizza Boys bar and restaurant on Clinton Street around 8:46 p.m. Thursday night. 

27-year-old Tyler Vanderhoof of Verona has been charged with felony reckless endangerment .

Police have confirmed no one was hurt  but are not sure at this time if there was an intended target.

Vanderhoof is currently in the Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment with additional charges pending. 

Pizza Boys owner Shane Carney released a statement addressing the situation earlier this afternoon.

"By now we're sure most of you have heard about the incident on Thursday evening. We assure you that this was an isolated incident, and no one was hurt. We continue to thank everyone in our community for their concern and support. The individual responsible has been apprehended and is in police custody. We are working closely with all levels of law enforcement to fully understand the details of the incident. The safety and security of our customers and staff is our primary concern."
