SU falls to No. 7 in AP poll

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two days after losing to ACC champs Virginia, Syracuse University fell to No. 7 in the most recent Associated Press poll, which was released on Monday.

The Cavaliers soundly defeated the Orange 75-56 in Charlottesville to claim the program’s first regular-season conference title in over three decades.

SU is currently 26-3, having lost three of its last four games.

Florida retained its spot atop the polls, while undefeated Wichita State was ranked No. 2.

Arizona, Duke, and Virginia round out the top five.

Villanova is ranked No. 6.
