UTICA, NY - There is a report of a partial collapse of a building at the corner of Sunset Ave and Chestnut St. in West Utica. The structure is a three story building with a flat roof. It is believed that there is a near total collapse of the roof and the damage in the interior is nearly complete to the first floor. In some spots the exterior walls of the building are bowed out.
There was a concern that there may have been some homeless people inside the structure. No one was found inside the building and no injuries have been reported. We will have a full report on Eyewitness News at 6 on WUTR.
