The Utica Comets have announced that their 2013 Home Opener against the Albany Devils is sold out.

The game is taking place at the Utica Memorial Auditorium on October 23rd.  The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:35 p.m.

In addition to the sell-out, the Utica Comets and Galaxy Communications have announced details for a Watch Party as part of the Opening Night Fan Fest, presented by Moe’s Southwest Grill and Hoopla Frozen Yogurt.

For fans who were not able to purchase a ticket to the Home Opener, as part of the Opening Night Fan Fest, Galaxy Communications and the Utica Comets will provide a free Watch Party right behind The AUD, on Whitesboro Street.  Fans will be able to watch the game for free on a giant TV screen outdoors.  Live music will be provided by "Showtime" and food and beer will be available for purchase.

The Fan Fest begins at 4 p.m. and the Watch Party begins at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets to the Comets 37 other home games are still on sale now through The AUD's box office.
